Hello, I am Emma Hatfield Watkins, founder of ‘Hattie Hatfield’

I have a huge passion for design and the creative world. I studied ‘Fashion Design’ at Art college, (joyfully achieving a distinction) followed by ‘Visual Communication Design’ at University in London, majoring in Illustration.

A very proud ‘Creative’ , I love taking on challenges, thinking up fresh ideas, discovering and forever learning new ways to make the things we wished existed. Whether it be a space, a product, or a feeling.

I am only one cog in the workings of the Hattie Hatfield Studio though, always by my side is the lovely Kathleen.. rarely seen front of house, however always working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring our designs to life with her wonderful artistic skills. Alongside Kathleen is my long suffereing partner Iain, who’s keen eye helps source our beautiful antiques from France. The studio would not be complete without our resident hounds Arthur and Nala, our fine old meowing gent William and of course our regular visitors - Tillia and Tobias (the monkeys featured in the photo above)

The Hattie Hatfield studio is a truly creative space, one where we love working on a diverse range of projects, from interior decoration, botanical sculpture, textile design, floristry, mural painting, illustration, graphics, bespoke stationary, through to curating exhibitions, and event design. We adore them all!
